Last edited by a moderator: Jun 11, So I am beyond the degree marks a bit and the more I adjust my distributor to get my mark closer to the BTC the worse my engine idles It did change sides of timing covers over the years and you could swap balancers and end up with the wrong combination. I was very careful and paid close attention to the rotation and reading the balancer correctly.
